G's Week in Review

Good thing I was able to fit in two workouts on Tues & Weds in Houston, cuz it all went downhill once I got back home. Jeff and I tried to do a quick walk before he left for work on Thursday and it ended disastrously.....you know how some people can't chew gum & talk? Apparently I am unable to walk and talk....tripped on some uneven pavement, tried to catch myself and ended up shredding my right hand. Though since all the skin was torn from my knuckles, my story is that I recently had my prison tats removed! Didn't work out Friday (unless you count shopping), hiked on Saturday, and now am sitting on my butt in the Houston airport. So considering the erratic physical activity, and dietary indiscretions (ate at Terrili's, had fries twice Sat.), I'm actually pleased to report a half pound weight loss for this week. As a dietitian, my advice is to aim for a 1/2 pound to 1 pound weight loss per week........but it sure is hard to happy about that as a normal overweight person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
