Weekend update

We spent Friday night with Kris and Jerry...we made fajitas and margaritas and happily got the kids to bed in a timely manner. The grownups (and i use the term loosely) went swimming and had a generally pleasant solstice-eve.
Later, when the women were ready for bed, Jerry very sneakily put in the director's cut of "Kingdom of Heaven" and that did it. I was mesmerized. What a difference adding all the details that they cut out. We made it through the first DVD, and then Jerry pretty much zonked. I took G and Micah and headed home.
Saturday afternoon we went to see "Stomp" at Fairpark. Really enjoyed it-what a fun show! Even Micah was, for the most part, enthralled. We ran into Glenn Jester and his wife (Team lead from AppDev at Staubach) there. I don't think that we've been to a "cultural" event this year that we haven't see Staubach folks there.
In keeping with an active weekend, we went to pick blueberries yesterday in East Texas. And pick blueberries we did! Two very large bags came home with us! More than we've ever picked before.
I'm still kind of fading in and out on being depressed about my job (all of IT's) ending soon. It's tres challenging to stay optimistic, but I'm trying.
Anyway, only one of my team is here, so we're hopping this morning. More later! Happy Monday...
