My latest obsession:

aha..I forgot how to post..that's why you haven't seen me...Well..I had to go out of town from Sunday to Monday and finally got into the gym yesterday..5 whole days without working out..OMG..I went to whole foods last week and got a bunch of veggies and meat..mm..it's all gone now, but I ate good all week except last Sat. We had Jakes..mm yummy. Jim sneaked a Pizza while I was out of town, while I was eating salads..I made my chicken veggie noodle soup for the week. Did u know that "The Biggest Losser" has a website..but they charge $19 bucks to belong to it.they have really cool meal plans and workout routines..but you have to pay. It works like a personal trainer..pretty cool. We're thinking of going to the Canton Flea Market..do you all wanna go?

Pizza and Cheese fries

ok so we have been cheating a little...but mostly good. Yes baby you are doing better than me.
Got a great start and leveled off, seems like I am running in sand.
Went to the gym Monday - lift and cardio. Will be there tonight, tomorrow, Friday and hopefully both days of the weekend. As I have eluded to it is all about the consistency for me, go several days a week, health is top of mind and I eat better.
My friend Dan joined the gym and we are going to try and work out together several times a week....that should help me too.

Could be my last post for a while, I am taking the Manager position and turning in my notice Friday morning, very possibly might be without a computer Friday....depends on my boss and his asshole level.
I will then be traveling alot so, Ginger I feel(or will feel) your pain

Allright, so i got home, determined that i was gonna run...and i did, doing the loop in 11:04! 28 seconds better than last weeks time.
Now, I want to collapse!
Then, while i'm on the floor, I'll do situps and leg stuff.

Frustrated

I've been cleaning out my closet for the past hour or so and tossing out a ton of cute clothes that no longer fit....I'm starting to see some muscle definition, but the scale is slow to move. I KNOW in my head that I'm making progress, at least health-wise. But, let me be honest, I am not working out to have a healthy-strong-as-a-damn-ox heart. I want to drop some inches baby! fit into smaller clothes and all that other vain crap. Had a pretty good week as far as working out. I dread it, but I know that I need to start counting calories again. Freaking pain in the arse, but it definitely makes me more aware of how much I'm eating. Arrggghhhh!!!! Wish eating right wasn't such a challenge. On a lighter note, the SPCA walk yesterday was very fun... so many cute dogs! We all (me, jeff and the dogs) had to nap to recoup, but it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Back on Track

This week is going much better. I took a weight training class on Saturday, Monday I did 45 minutes of Cardio and though it's only 7:30 a.m., I've already done 40 minutes of cardio plus a few strength exercises. Yea me!!! There is a 3K Walk/Fun Run that benefits the SPCA at Fair Park this Saturday. You guys want to go? The dogs can walk too if we're that brave! Call me if you're interested.

Johanne and I seem ok once we get there, Monday night I lifted and 45 min of cardio, she did 2 classes. Sorry babe, no aerobics for me....Rhino's dont do that
Got a friend who is joining this week, hopefully we can motivate each for some lifting gains.....same old arguement, "if I could just be consistant"
Keep trying the morning thing, but 5am is too early when we dont crash until midnight, slept through 2 alarm clocks this morning.

The Weadocks Live

Hey guys! So sorry to have disappeared, but the last three weeks have been horrendous! I've been working 60 to 85 hour weeks (New York twice and Houston). I have vowed to stay within 100 miles from home this coming week. The week I was in Houston, I actually managed to eat pretty well and to exercise. Last week in NY was terrible, no exercise except for walking, and missed lunch several days. My metabolism has probably slowed to a crawl at this point. That's ok, because we are just about to go for a long bike ride (as in bicycle, not the motered version :-) Jeff put together his new bike this morning, so we're going to test it out. Hope you get better soon JoJo!

Alternative weight loss

I'm with ya babe, I was going to post that you have decided the alternative weight loss method of getting really sick to loose weight. But you outlined that already, I hate the fucking hospital, my wife and mother in law keep ending up there, Its like a bad habit.
Been working ALOT and running to Houston and all I havent really eaten that much. although not loosing weight I atleast am not gaining either.

Where the hell have you people been?? Ok. so the pats lost to the giants..I get sicker than shit and had jim run me to the emergency room. I miss one of my biggest meetings and now the airline doesn't want to credit me back..I'm having a shitty ass week. And I can't work out b/c I can't stop caughing the shit out. I feel like I have smoked 10 packs of ciggys. Yuck!! I'm heading to the gym tomorrow no matter what. Oh and during the first half of the game, I had to drive to the emergency room b/c my mom was having a hard time breathing at the rehab location..whatta week!! So, I guess is just you and me honey posting on this blog...where are the weadocks??
